Friends Thanksgiving...4th edition!

This past Sunday we had our 4th annual Friends Thanksgiving at our house!! It has been such a blessing to watch our little group grow from 6 to 10 in 3 short years!! My favorite part of the night was when we were able to all hold hands, even the kids, and Chris prayed over our food and friendship!!! Your friendship means so much to our family! :)

That lasted for all of about 5 seconds. In the middle of all the noise and commotion us gals just looked at each other and laughed...and then we daydreamed of the day we could send them all out to the backyard to play football, and then, maybe then, we could enjoy our meal!! :)

Sam set this table for him and Jackson ALL BY HIMSELF. He even put the kiddie spoon and fork on top of the napkin...precious!!!

Please note the following things in the above picture:

1. The UVA balloon was to congratulate Amy who just finished her Masters in Reading from UVA this past Sat.!!! (head on over here to congratulate her) AND Elli is scared to death of balloons so we thought she would leave us alone if we set it on the table!!

2. Yes, I made then pour their Fanta orange out of the can and into the fancy beverage glasses because I figured those fancy glasses should at least be used once a year!!! :)

and 3. Was Charley the only one who got the memo that I was taking a picture...good girl finding her mommy!

(yes Sam is in his PJ's! :)) We don't have a picture of our first Friend's Thanksgiving, we were too busy actually enjoying our dinner and gasp...maybe even having an actual conversation...oh how kids can change things...and we wouldn't have it any other way!!! Here's to many more years of crazy, noisy, and comical Thanksgiving dinners!! :):)
